You’re skilled with technology and social media as tools for ministry, and you’re willing to learn new systems to help connect students and families. Most importantly, you’re committed to the vision of Church at the Shores and want to see students fully integrated into the life of the church.


What Will You Do?

You will lead Shores Students to provide vision, direction, and discipleship that helps middle school, high school, and college students follow Jesus for a lifetime.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

  • Lead Shores Students by casting a vision, building relationships, and helping them take the next steps with Jesus.
  • Oversee student ministry gatherings, discipleship opportunities, and outreach efforts.
  • Preach and teach Scripture in ways that are clear, relational, and life-giving.
  • Develop a teaching calendar and create content that speaks to the real issues students face.
  • Recruit, equip, and encourage a strong team of leaders. Partner with parents by equipping them to disciple their students at home.
  • Plan and oversee camps, retreats, and special events. Provide pastoral care for students and families as needed (baptisms, hospital visits, etc.).
  • Manage the student ministry budget and steward resources wisely.
  • Communicate consistently with students, parents, and leaders.
  • Foster a culture of prayer, worship, and mission within Shores Students.
