Chinese Christian Gospel Church of Naples, FL

Our church is located in Collier County along the southwest coast of Florida. Among a population of

over 400,000, there are approximately 2,000 Chinese residents. Established in 2003, our church currently

has a worship attendance of 30 to 40 people. The congregation includes professionals, small business

owners, and retirees coming primarily from mainland China and Taiwan. We are a loving, mutually

We are seeking a pastor capable of ministering in both Mandarin and English. This is a part-time lead

pastor position. The pastor will be led by the Holy Spirit to equip brothers and sisters as Gospel

ambassadors in the community—to lead the congregants in developing family-oriented ministries, and

dedicating themselves to the spread of God’s Good News through witness and community service.

Candidates should possess the following experience and qualifications:

1. Sound Christ-centered faith, meeting the biblical qualifications for an elder.

2. A clear calling from God for pastoral ministry.

3. Eligibility for pastoral credentialing and ordination within the Christian & Missionary Alliance.

4. Innovative ability and experience in planning evangelistic ministries to those who serve in and

frequent Chinese-owned small businesses (e.g., restaurants, spas).

5. Familiarity with the Chinese immigrant experience and North American culture, capable of

communication in English.

The pastor’s ministry responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following areas:

1. Preaching and Teaching: Regularly preach on Sundays and participate in Christ-centered biblical

teaching.

2. Pastoral Care: Provide spiritual care to the congregation through visitation, fellowship, prayer,

biblical counseling, and foster spiritual growth.

3. Discipleship Training: Lead discipleship training to develop ministry coworkers and evangelists.

4. Missions: Organize and lead the congregation in community evangelism and maintain a clear

missions strategy.

5. Church Development Planning: Lead the church in the formulation of a vision and goals for church

development that align with God’s will, effectuating healthy growth in both spiritual maturity and the

number of congregants.
