Lead Pastor - Gateway Alliance Church, Sidney NY

Gateway Alliance Church, established in 1941, is a congregation nestled in the heart of Sidney, NY, within picturesque Delaware County. The church of around 100 dedicated attendees has a diverse demographic mix of young, middle-aged and older people.

As it stands today, Gateway Alliance Church serves as a pivotal regional church. Sidney, with its population of 3,700, is a quintessential small town, yet its influence extends far beyond its borders, encompassing approximately 25,000 residents within a ten-mile radius.

Our church facility has undergone recent renovations, resulting in a modernized worship center, multi-ministry building (gym). Moreover, we've enhanced our audio/visual capabilities, enabling us to stream and record our services and events expanding our ministry impact.

We are seeking a new Lead Pastor with the following attributes and abilities:

• A man that is strongly rooted in the Word and preaches and teaches the same. Someone humbly led by the Holy Spirit and has strong spiritual discernment.
• A man that is able to develop leadership pathways within the church, emphasizing importance of strong biblical families and men.
• A man that can develop discipleship pathways within the church congregation to equip us to do the work that God has for us.
• A man that can work as a “team” member on the Elder board and Governing board as a collaborative leader.
• Someone who appreciates accountability for all (self included).
