Church Location: The church is visible to anyone driving U.S. Route 15, which parallels the beautiful Susquehanna River in Perry County. The community enjoys the outdoors as the Appalachian Trail runs right through the area but also has the benefit of being close to shopping and healthcare facilities in the greater Harrisburg area. Many in the community work in the city but enjoy coming home to nature and a quiet, small-town life.

Job Description: New Buffalo Alliance Church is seeking a full-time pastor to lead the church toward God’s purposes of His people making and multiplying disciples. The church has seen an increase in young families and children attending the church, and the pastor will have the opportunity to cast vision and build community for these new families. Currently, the elders are being supported to discern the greatest needs in their church so they can best be positioned to impact their community with the Gospel. Ideal Start Date: Summer 2024

Minimum Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree (Including or in addition to a minimum of 30 credit hours of Bible, theology, and ministry study)

Minimum Credential Level: Must be willing to begin the consecration and ordination process with The Alliance

Minimum Years of Experience: 10 years of experience as a staff pastor

Compensation: Full-time salary with benefits, Parsonage available

Church Size: 150 Avg. Sunday Attendance

Church Setting: Rural
