Who We Are

Citylight West Council Bluffs is a church plant in Council Bluffs, Iowa that launched in August of 2020. We have a passion to multiply disciples and churches. Our prayer is that we would see the Spirit of God continue to transform lives through the proclamation of the Gospel and see those disciples empowered to live on mission in our community!

Job Overview

The worship leader’s primary role is to lead and develop a gospel-centered, Spirit-empowered worship culture. The worship leader will lead the church in a deeper understanding of God through music, discipleship, and scripture. Salary and hours will be dependent upon the candidate, experience, and calling.

Job Description

• Pray for, plan, and lead worship for Sunday morning worship gatherings each week.
• Recruit, organize, and coordinate volunteers.
• Shepherd and disciple worship team members and other members of the Church.
• Meet regularly with a Pastor for continued discipleship, vision, and support.
• Participate in all scheduled staff meetings.
• Be a regular and stable part of the community of Citylight West Council Bluffs.
• All other duties as assigned by the Pastors.
