Citylight West Council Bluffs is a church plant in Council Bluffs, Iowa that launched in August of 2020. We have a passion to multiply disciples and churches. Our prayer is that we would see the Spirit of God continue to transform lives through the proclamation of the Gospel and see those disciples empowered to live on mission in our community!

Job Overview

The Youth Director’s primary role is to lead and build the Youth Ministry at Citylight West Council Bluffs. This includes organizing gatherings, preaching, discipling leaders and students, as well as communicating with parents and guardians while leading in a Christ honoring, team empowering way.

Job Description

• Cast vision for a gospel centered, disciple making youth ministry.
• Organize and execute weekly youth gatherings.
• Plan and fundraise for yearly summer camp trips.
• Disciple, train, and work together with student ministry leaders.
• Pray for, disciple, and lead students in both middle and high school.
