Associate pastor with youth oversight and church administration suburban church Point Place (Toledo) Ohio
CrossPoint Community Church in Toledo, Ohio began as a church re-start in February of 2006
with a core group of around 50 people. From the beginning, we have been a community-
focused, outreach-oriented church. Our mission statement is “Transforming lives by loving God,
loving others, and serving the world.” We try to fulfill this mission by gathering for meaningful
worship on Sunday morning, joining small groups where we can learn the principles of God’s
Word through teaching and interaction, and serving our community in unique ways. CrossPoint
is part of the Christian and Missionary Alliance.
Our church congregation is warm, loving, and grace-filled. Most of our newer people come
from the surrounding neighborhood and community of Point Place and Shoreland. We
emphasize personal connection, spiritual healing and growth, and authenticity.
We have recently experienced growth among our children and youth. We now have around
thirty children and youth, most of whom come from the surrounding neighborhoods (they walk
to our church) or are brought by their grandparents. This is a unique opportunity for someone
to nurture and establish the first youth group ever at CrossPoint.
We are looking for an Associate Pastor who can organize our student ministries, lead our youth
group, and do some church administration and pastoral duties.
This is a full-time position with benefits. The position reports to the Lead Pastor (Michael
DeLong).
