Regional Team Leader Opportunity - Make a Real Impact

Are you a proven leader ready for a challenge? The Western Pennsylvania District of the Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA) is seeking a dynamic individual to step into the role of Regional Team Leader. This isn't just a job; it's a chance to leverage your experience and passion to shape the future of our churches and leaders. You'll be working directly with the District Superintendent, using your judgment and skills to provide spiritual, ministry, and administrative guidance in a specific region. This role is about empowering people and churches to reach their full potential and is a ministry leadership role.

What We're Looking For:

We're seeking someone who not only has the skills and experience, but also the character and drive to make a real difference. Here’s what we are looking for:

• A Passionate and Committed Leader: You’re a natural servant-leader who is energized by the success of others, supporting pastors, church leaders, and congregations. You're fully aligned with the mission and values of the C&MA.

• A Collaborative Team Player: You thrive in a team environment, understanding your strengths and weaknesses and using them to contribute to a common goal.

• An Engaging Communicator: You are comfortable speaking in front of large groups or one-on-one, and you can communicate effectively in both written and spoken formats. You have a knack for inspiring others with your vision.

• A Motivator of Others: You find satisfaction in helping others succeed and prioritize the growth of your team.

• A Coach and Mentor: You are equipped and ready to walk alongside individuals, helping them achieve what God has called them to do, and you're also open to learning and growing yourself.

• A Problem Solver: You are adept at handling conflict and finding solutions, using Biblical principles as your guide.

• An Effective Administrator: You’re skilled in strategic planning and execution, able to set goals, and keep projects on track.

• A Role Model: You're someone who embodies a Christ-like approach to life and work, leading with integrity and honesty.

• Adaptable and Flexible: You're able to pivot when needed and take direction well. You are a lifelong learner who is always looking for ways to grow.

• A Builder of People: You have a proven track record of recognizing talents and gifts in others and helping them to grow into their callings.

• A Self Starter: You are able to prioritize tasks and stay on track to reach goals.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Spiritual Direction and Leadership: You’ll be a guide to licensed workers and others in your region, fostering spiritual growth and maturity, providing pastoral leadership, and leading worship and prayer as needed.

• Develop and Cast Vision: You'll be instrumental in shaping and executing the vision and strategy of the district and local region. You will help connect local church and district projects to the “big picture” of the C&MA’s goals.

• Strengthen Churches: You’ll partner with local churches, assessing their health and helping them grow into their full potential, assisting in pastor placement.

• Empower Leaders: You’ll be a key player in developing pastors and lay leaders, providing opportunities for growth through coaching and learning. You will also focus on developing regional pastors.

• Be a Key District Partner: You’ll represent the District Superintendent, supporting him in his responsibilities and act as a liaison between various offices and organizations as requested.

• Act as a Peacemaker: You will apply biblical principles of peacemaking when you encounter conflicts.

• Support District-Wide Ministries: You will be assisting with key events and programs for the district including the District Conference and summer camps.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Proven Ministry Experience: You have a gifted background in ministry with a record of leading vibrant ministries, developing leaders, and fostering a passion for evangelism and church health. You have experience in initiating and leading change.

• Leadership Development Skills: You can identify potential in others and help them develop into leaders.

• Evangelistic Heart: You have a heart for those who don't know Christ, and you're actively involved in sharing the Gospel.

• Educational Background: You hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field.

• C&MA Ordination: You have a minimum of five consecutive years of experience in ordained ministry with The Christian and Missionary Alliance.

• PA Clearances: You can comply with all required PA clearances.

• Agreement with C&MA Doctrine: You agree to live according to the C&MA Statement of Faith, as well as the Lifestyle and Conduct guidelines.
