Church Location: The church is just outside the borough of Watsontown, Pennsylvania in Northumberland County, the heart of Pennsylvania’s beautiful Susquehanna River Valley.

Job Description: The church is seeking a lead pastor who is passionate about serving Christ with a shepherding heart. They are seeking a pastor who is gifted in teaching, casting vision, mentoring, developing others, and administrating. The congregation is currently elder-led under the shepherding of a transitional pastor. A strong network of lay ministry leaders supports current ministries and community outreach.

Minimum Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree (including or in addition to a minimum of 30 credit hours of Bible, theology, and ministry study).

Minimum Credential Level: Must be willing to begin the consecration and ordination process with the Alliance.

Minimum Years of Experience: 7 years experience as a staff pastor

Compensation: Full-time salary, medical coverage, pension contribution, paid vacation and holidays, plus a parsonage (4 bedroom, 2 ½ bath with two car garage) with fully paid utilities.

Church Size: 150-200 average Sunday attendance. The current staff includes an Office Manager with anticipated future staff expansion.

Church Setting: The church is located in a rural setting outside a town with a population of 2,200. The city of Williamsport, with a population of 27,403, is 16 miles away.
