Job Description: The church is seeking a lead pastor who is a strong teacher with a shepherd's heart who can reshape their vision to be a disciple-making community that multiplies. Currently, a transitional pastor is guiding the elders and members to discern the greatest needs in their church so they can best be positioned to impact their community with the Gospel. Church Location Description: Known as “E-town" by locals, this affordable community in Lancaster County features strong public schools, safe neighborhoods, and a walkable downtown with local shops, coffee shops, and restaurants. Locals enjoy a small town charm, easy access to rails to trails, the aroma of chocolate from the Mars Wrigley factory, fresh local produce from surrounding farms, and an easy commute to both cities of Harrisburg and Lancaster.

Compensation: Health Coverage, Full-time salary, Housing Allowance

Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Degree

Minimum Credential Level: Must be willing to begin the Alliance ordination process

Minimum Years of Experience: The ideal candidate has 10 years of experience as a staff pastor and proven experience making disciples.

Church Size: 200 Avg. Sunday Attendance

Church Setting: Suburban

Church History: The Alliance Church in Elizabethtown, planted in 1958, is a congregation actively working through a season of transition. The church maintains vibrant ministries including strong small groups, missions involvement, and family programs. The congregation demonstrates spiritual vitality through new conversions, baptisms, and committed lay leadership. The church benefits from engaged elders and ministry leaders, with multiple men involved in preaching through a Sermon Cohort program. The next pastor will have the opportunity to build upon existing ministries while helping shape the church's future direction through thoughtful, biblical disciplemaking and developing leaders
