Job Description:

Status: Part-time, average 25 hours/week
Supervisor: Lead Pastor

Mission: Develop, implement, maintain, and manage the ministry systems, staff and volunteers needed to execute the All Souls Community Worship Ministry.

Vision: To create a worship ministry that welcomes all worshippers into the Presence of God to experience the wonder of His love and brings Him the glory He is due.

Bottom Line: We are seeking a lead worshipper: someone marked by the Presence of God, full of Holy Spirit, anointed to lead, gifted in worship, and able to work with our teams and leaders to grow All Souls to be wholehearted worshippers of our Triune God.

  • Gifted in developing and executing weekly worship services (Teams: Music, A/V, Speakers)
  • Knowledge of and working experience in the following programs: Google Drive, Planning Center, ProPresenter, ATEM Switcher, Video Editing Software (DaVinci), Audio Editing Software (i.e., Garage Band)


RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Summary: Embodying and championing All Souls’ DNA while drawing people into the Presence of God through powerful worship; leading and shepherding worship teams, and overseeing all aspects of planning and execution of the worship; communicating effectively with worship team volunteers, team leaders and All Souls staff to maintain unity in the Spirit in everything we do, to the glory of God.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Overseer: LEAD

  • Pray and collaborate with the Lead Pastor to identify and articulate the church’s purpose, vision and goals for worship.
  • Be the lead worshipper. A saying we like to use is “You cannot lead where you have not been.” We’re looking for someone who knows the way into the presence of God and can lead us there. By first cultivating your own relationship of worship before the Lord, you will be able to genuinely show the way.
  • Develop ministry and spiritual objectives for the Worship Ministry Team (Music and A/V) and congregation in conjunction with the Lead Pastor.
  • Promote an intergenerational, multicultural worship atmosphere through music selection.
  • Design effective corporate worship gatherings where the Worship Ministry Team can use their abilities, talents and spiritual gifts to minister to God, our All Souls family, and the local community.


Administrator: MANAGE

  • Oversee all areas of production, including audio/visual, presentation slides(ProPresenter), stage design, and equipment maintenance (Cameras, Audio equipment, streaming equipment).
  • Plan and coordinate the worship ministry of the church with particular emphasis on liturgy and music that support the message of the Service.
  • Coordinate corporate worship rehearsals and Worship Ministry Team practices.
  • Ensure all service design elements are planned and in place for use in the Service.
  • Work closely with the Lead Pastor and staff to plan and lead all special worship services and events, including weddings, funerals, holiday services and special celebrations.


Recruiter: CONNECT

  • Identify potential Worship Ministry Team members and discern a plan of action for their spiritual and musical development and their inclusion on the Worship Ministry Team
  • Communicate with the Children’s and Youth Ministry Directors to include children and teens in corporate worship when appropriate
  • Train and develop leaders in worship and A/V teams


Learner:GROW

  • Successfully complete and participate in the All Souls leadership development process, and help lead others in so doing.
  • Participate in Metro C&MA conferences, training, and community for worship leaders and teams.


Salary and Benefits Pay:

  • Annual Salary


Vacation:

  • 10 days of paid vacation time (with supervisor approval)
  • Office closed during the week between Christmas and New Year’s
  • Office closed the week after Easter.


Sick Leave:

  • Sick leave awarded in accordance with Staff Handbook
