Director of Student Ministries

Department: Youth Ministries
Office: Western Great Lakes

Menomonie Alliance Church, located in the heart of the Red Cedar Valley in Northwestern, Wisconsin is a multi-staff church with a vibrant and engaging community of around 350 attendees. We are focused on maturing and multiplying followers of Jesus in all of Dunn County and the world.
MAC’s 5 Core Values guide and shape our commitment to ministry and the advancement of the Kingdom of God:

1. Divine Anticipation. We are exceedingly confident God is at work all around us and desires to work in us and through us to accomplish His purposes.
2. Authentic Community. We pursue a genuine relationship with Jesus and others.
3. Missional Living. We live out the love of Jesus in our neighborhoods and the nations.
4. Radical Generosity. Out of gratitude for what Jesus has done for us, we lavishly give of ourselves for the benefit of others.
5. Intentional Multiplication. We intentionally identify, empower, and release disciples, leaders, and churches of LifeGroups.

We are looking for a Director of Student Ministries to lead, develop, and expand our high school and middle school ministries. This role entails building strong relationships with the youth, planning ministry programming and events, managing ministry volunteers, and maintaining regular and open communication with parents. The Director of Student Ministries would uphold and embrace MAC’s 5 Core Values within the context of the student ministry as well.

We are seeking a self-motivated and dynamic leader who loves working with students and families. Prior experience in youth ministry and working in a larger church setting/multi-staff would be an added advantage, but we are also open to someone stepping into ministry for the first time. Our ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organizational skills and have experience in planning and implementing programs and events.

Our servants currently serving as part of our youth ministry team will help provide support with administrative, programming, and event planning needs. At Menomonie Alliance, we value our staff's relationships and prioritize taking care of their needs as we believe that emotionally and spiritually healthy people can lead healthy ministries. The Director of Student Ministries would join the existing staff consisting of three full-time pastors, a part-time children’s ministry director and several office administrators and assistants.

Located in the stunning Red Cedar Valley in Northwestern Wisconsin, Menomonie offers breathtaking landscapes to explore, including Lake Menomin, Red Cedar State Trail, Hoffman Hills, and Devil's Punch Bowl. Numerous outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, fishing, hunting, and snowshoeing can be enjoyed. In Menomonie, there truly is something to do every season of the year!

Menomonie’s charming downtown has been the center of the community for over 170 years. Today, visitors can enjoy the historic architecture of downtown Menomonie, which houses world-class attractions such as the Mabel Tainter Center for the Arts, along with many top-notch restaurants, independent shops, cafes, coffee shops, breweries, and more. Menomonie is also home to UW-Stout – with about 9,000 students including many internationals.

A bachelor's degree in Bible, ministry, or an equivalent field is required. As Menomonie Alliance Church is part of the Christian & Missionary Alliance, candidates must be eligible for licensure with the C&MA and in complete agreement with the current C&MA’s statement of faith. Ordination and/or Consecration with the C&MA must also be pursued if not already completed.
