Lead Pastor -FAC Orlando

First Alliance Church Orlando, was the first Christian and Missionary Alliance church planted in the state of Florida in 1898 through the strong influence of Dr. A. B. Simpson, founder of the C&MA. The congregation has a rich history and is now seeking a new lead pastor to lead this authentically welcoming, loving, and generous congregation in fulfilling the mission of creating a community outreach/mission mentality to reach their community for Christ. In conjunction with bringing people to Christ they desire to develop a strong discipleship process. The ideal pastor will be a man of prayer who will lead, encourage, train, and guide the church to fulfill their mission of evangelism and discipleship.

Orlando is the fourth largest city in Florida. For the last decade it has grown an average of 6,000 people a year. It is one of the fastest growing economies in the United States. The median age in the surrounding zip codes is 38, which falls in the target age range they are seeking to reach.

This position requires an undergraduate degree in Biblical Studies or equivalent. Seminary education is preferred. In addition to biblical education, secular college or marketplace experience would be a plus. The ideal candidate would have practical ministry education and life experience that equips them to lead the congregation in missional effectiveness.

All candidates must be able to meet licensing and ordination requirements with the C&MA.
