Peoples Church in Geneva, Ohio, is actively seeking a Lead Pastor who will, under the direction of the Holy Spirit, collaborate with our church to foster a Biblical and Holy Spirit-dependent mission and vision for Christ's Body. Through leadership in prayer and with integrity and humility, the Lead Pastor will oversee the preaching schedule and worship ministries of the congregation. The successful candidate will have preaching and leadership experience and exhibit a passion for winning the lost to Christ, discipling believers to maturity and engaging in acts of compassion. The preferred candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills in order to equip the congregation for works of ministry and build up the Body of Christ. A candidate already licensed with the Christian & Missionary Alliance is preferred; but all candidates must be willing and able to meet licensing and ordination requirements with the C&MA. At a minimum, he must have a bachelor’s degree in Bible, Theology or a ministry related concentration of study.

Peoples Church is a vibrant, thriving Bible believing church blessed to have a beautiful, well-maintained large campus with two parsonages, an Annex and Main Church Building. Peoples Church is poised for growth with an average weekly in-person attendance of 75 with approximately 125 regular attenders. The Church is in Geneva, Ohio (fifty miles east of Cleveland) near the shores of Lake Erie and Geneva State Park. Our community is known for its festivals of many kinds and its award-winning school system.
