Our church, Parkview Alliance Church, in Van Buren, Arkansas is looking for a pastor/elder. (Bi-vocational) The primary responsibilities of that position will include:

Spiritual Leadership

• Preaching
• Facilitating and encouraging spiritual growth and discipleship through the development and implementation of small group ministries, Bible studies, and other educational programs.
• Fostering a culture of faith, love and service

Pastoral Care

• Visiting the sick
• Counseling those in need
• Offering support during times of crisis

Administrative oversight

• Management of church operations
• Budgeting
• Financial planning
• Personal management of the church office

Other Pastoral Duties

• Weddings
• Funerals
• Baptisms
• Dedications

We are seeking a pastor with as much of the above experience as possible. We seek a pastor who is already licensed with the C&MA

We seek a pastor who is a great listener, loves God, is intentional about personal witnessing, has a humble and gentle spirit, is relational with all age groups, doesn’t mind getting his hands and feet dirty, has a servant’s heart and welcomes those who want to minister to him as well.

We are an Acts 1:8 church whose mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:18-20), equip the saints for the work of ministry, and to edify the body of Christ (Eph. 4:11-16).

Compensation Package: $2,000/month. (i-vocational)
