The Christian and Missionary Alliance (The Alliance, the C&MA) was birthed in 1887 from a vision of Pastor A. B. Simpson in New York City, who became heartbroken over the plight of the homeless, the immigrant, and the marginalized. Today, we share his passion to offer tangible help and lasting hope to the world’s neediest people.

Requirements

The Alliance has ongoing job opening opportunities across the country for interim, transitional ministers. If you don't see a current job posting that closely matches you skills and gifts and you are interested in serving in The Alliance in a transitional ministry role, you can submit your application and resume into the General Consideration posting to be placed in our candidate pool to be considered in any district of the United States. As additional job opportunities become available, we will review General Consideration applications for specific experience and skills that match the need.

While the minimum requirements for education, experience, and skills will vary by opportunity, we additionally look for individuals who:

  • Have a sincere relationship with Jesus Christ and have a desire to make His love known to all the world;
  • Are team oriented with an attitude of gratitude and practice integrity as a priority;
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, self-motivated work environment; and
  • Have a passion for continued spiritual, personal, and professional development.
  • Are aligned with our Statement of Faith
  • Are willing and eligible to become licensed and ordained or consecrated with The Alliance (position dependent).
