Church Location: Lewistown Alliance Church lies just outside Lewistown, Pennsylvania, a small borough located along the Juniata River. The beautiful natural setting is great for fishing, hunting, hiking, and biking. Located near Route 322, Lewistown is a short driving distance from Penn State.

Job Description: The church is seeking a lead pastor who has the passion and ability to encourage and shepherd the spiritual formation of the congregation as the lead teacher and nurture them to be a disciple-making community that multiplies. Currently, the elders are being supported so as to discern the greatest needs in their church so they can best be positioned to impact their community with the Gospel. Minimum Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree (Including or in addition to a minimum of 30 credit hours of Bible, theology, and ministry study)

Minimum Credential Level: Must be willing to begin the consecration and ordination process with The Alliance

Minimum Years of Experience: 10 years of experience as a staff pastor

Compensation: Full-time salary with benefits

Church Size: 150 Avg. Sunday Attendance

Church Setting: Town (Population of 5,000 – 10,000)

Church History: The church was planted almost 100 years ago in 1928.
