Citylight West Council Bluffs is a church plant in Council Bluffs, IA that launched on August of 2020. We have a passion to multiply disciples and churches. Our prayer is that we would see The Spirit of God continue to transform lives through the proclamation of the gospel and see those disciples empowered to live on mission in our community!

Job Overview

The Church Planting Resident’s primary role is to grow and lead in an atmosphere of church planting and disciple multiplication. The Church Planting Resident would be given the tools to help them develop the strategy, skills, and spiritual maturity to plant a new church out of Citylight West Council Bluffs

Job Description

Recruit, organize, and coordinate volunteer teams

Teaching/Preaching Opportunities

Leading and facilitating multiplication of small groups

Meet regularly with a Pastor for discipleship, vision, and support

Refine and develop a vision for a new Church Plant

Participate in all scheduled staff meetings

Be a regular and stable part of the community of Citylight West Council Bluffs

Other duties and roles that would be helpful experience for church planting
